“This lovely campsite in the Cudham Valley has been enjoyed by Guides of all ages for the last seventy years.

Thanks to the foresight and generosity of the City Parochial Foundation and early members of the Guide Association, girls have been able to visit The Shaws Camp Site and experience the pleasure and freedom of being in the fresh air and surrounded by the beautiful countryside.

Successive generations of Guides have benefitted from the camps and activities that have   taken place at The Shaws. The emphasis Guiding places on outdoor activities is justified by the fond reminisces so frequently recalled by Guides and former Guides of the fun and good times they have had at camps and holidays especially at this special camp site.”
