Conditions of membership and guidance notes compiled
in the interests of health and safety and security. Please read carefully and sign your
acceptance of these conditions in the space provided on the application form 1.
Membership is only available to groups having educational, non-profitmaking and/or charitable objectives. 2. The
materials are available for educational, non-profitmaking
and/or charitable purposes only 3. Members
visiting the project must have their membership card or hold valid
identification from the member group. All visitors must sign in on arrival,
and provide all relevant information requested in the visitors book. 4. Large
groups (over 4 people) are advised to give advance notification of their
visit. 5. At
present no children under 12 will be permitted access to the project. 6.
Members/visitors must respect the health and safety of other
members/volunteers and workers whist visiting the project and conduct themselves accordingly (eg:
by keeping walkways clear and leaving shelves in a tidy state.) 7.
Membership entitles members to a fair share of the materials available. Work
and play reserves the right to ration and/or reserve supplies when necessary,
in the interests of fairness to all member groups. 8. Failure
to agree or comply with these membership responsibilities will result in a
withdrawal of membership rights. 9. Though
every effort is made to ensure the materials available are clean and safe,
and general guidance sheets on health and safety are available, any material
used stored, or handled in the wrong way can be hazardous. Work and play
therefore can accept no responsibility for the subsequent use, storage, or
handling of the materials once they have left the premises. 10. Members
are advised to bring their own bags/boxes for collections and provide their
own scissors if needed. 11. In the
event of a complaint work and play has adopted a formal complaints policy
copies of which are available on request, any positive feedback is also
welcomed. |
